Veteran Support and Activities
Our mission includes support for Veterans.  Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a congressionly chartered Veterans Service Organization.  Our veterans support consists of a variety of activities as well as financial contributions to the VA and other projects.


Veterans Alley
Join us at the Downtown Farmers Market on annually for Veterans Alley.  Lots of resources and giveaways.  In 2009 and 2010 we hosted a fish pond for military children.

VA Barbecues and Ice Cream Socials
We host an annual barbecue at the VA Medical center for the veterans in the community living center.

Operation Melody
Grand Valley Blues Star mothers has an ongoing musical instrument program.  We collect donated instruments from the community and provide them free of charge to veterans.  Applications and information for Vets is available at info@gvbluestarmothers.org or click the link on the sidebar.

Funding and Donations
Grand Valley Blue Star Mothers depends on community donations and support and occasional fundraisers.  We are grateful for the support of the communities of the Western Slope.
